Beginner and intermediate students draw or paint in a fun, relaxed learning environment.  Whether group is made up of ten or eighty-year olds; a school; or community organization, classes are customized to your group's interests and needs.    Individual art sessions are also available.

KABBALAH FOR YOUTH

Enrichment Program - Ages 11-14

Kabbalah, Mystical Judaism, provides an insightful, loving and balanced perspective of Torah but is rarely included in mainstream Jewish education.  Young children delight in Torah stories and colorful characters until around age eight, when simplified versions lose their appeal and relevance. These stories often characterize G-d as judgmental and harsh.  It’s not enough to leave their understanding of Torah at the level of childhood tale.

However the lack of resources around Kabbalah teaching for young people is a significant challenge to educators and parents.  As a lifelong teacher with a passion for Judaism, and a personal journey seeking spiritual connection, I felt compelled to create a program introducing Kabbalah to young people.

My program, Kabbalah for Youth, is a curriculum supplement that introduces a personal connection to the loving, nurturing aspects of G-d.  It engages ten- to fourteen-year-olds through mystery adventure stories based on Torah and Kabbalah, paired with interactive, creative activities.

Kabbalah for Youth plants the seeds to explore a richer, more spiritual perspective within Judaism, paving the way for a lifetime of learning and discovery.

 

This enrichment program works for existing school curriculum, youth groups, or camp programs.
